Jason Hoen, Global Sales and Marketing Director for Green Eco Technologies, presented considerations for food waste management during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group’s (ADSG’s) 'Waste, What Waste? Reducing Waste and Living Smart' webinar on 22 June 2020. Jason’s presentation also included an introduction to the WasteMaster as an innovative solution, which not only converts and re-purposes organic waste as a useful resource, but also diverts this waste from landfill, in support of several of the United Nation’s (UN’s) Sustainable Development Goals relating to water quality, land quality, climate and the preservation of resources.

Hosted by the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group (ADSG), the webinar focused on the principles of regenerative economics, consumer responsibility, setting goals for waste management, innovation and how to engage with suppliers, local communities and stakeholders to support the delivery of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The global event featured an expert panel of speakers and is the third of the ADSG’s digital Sustainable Business Leadership series.

Speaking about the webinar, Jason said: “It was an honour to be selected to present at this thought provoking and highly informative event alongside such an expert panel of speakers. It was inspiring to witness the excellent sustainability initiatives and products being presented for global benefit. We look forward to supporting the ADSG at future sustainability events next year.”
